Why do I need it?
Including a full-time team on-site to deal with all mechanical and electrical plant deliveries can help ensure that the management and offloading of all equipment is streamlined to a single movement contractor. In addition, this enables the sites to coordinate crane, hoist and forklift requirements far more effectively, with the distribution of materials to the work-fronts more precisely.
Dedicated Project Managers.
Our Project Managers ensure that the trade contractors have continuity of material supplies and the major plant items are delivered on time and in the correct sequence. We ensure that the project follows its critical path.
Early Engagement
When we take on a site-wide logistics project, we like to be fully involved from the start allowing us to understand all possible constraints on transport and delivery before we start. This also involves getting a complete picture of the project plan and understanding the site itself. Allowing us through regular progress meetings to ensure all site-specific Risk Assessments and Method Statements are updated as the project progresses. Furthermore, any changes in site conditions can be reviewed and altered where appropriate or necessary with no worry to our clients.
Site Support
We can also manage and deliver road closures where necessary for large plant deliveries and are well versed in working with local authorities to ensure that this runs smoothly and effectively. Additionally, we can provide traffic management plans, including the supply of temporary traffic lights, signs and barriers.
Concept to Completion
By providing a site-wide logistics package, allows the construction team to fully concentrate on ensuring the smooth progress of the complex project.
